Sensorial play.

  Spring sensory box:

I used different materials for this activity , it was a spring activity so I want it to use elements for that moment like: seeds, grass, spring colors, flowers and gel pearls ( careful with this ones), rice, pompons, I added some jars and spons for them to practice fine motor by selecting different materials.

We can add to this activity flashcards, and this way they can link the touching with  the name of the object.

!Lights and lights!

One of my favorites resorces for sure, no doubt this is a fantastic idea for preschool, with this table we can use figures, sand, flashcards and a lot of different materials ...It have several kind of uses and its inspired by Reggio Emilia methodology (wich I love).

What we can do if we don't have one of this in class?, here are some ideas for working with light in class without a table like this.
I created a sensorial box with Christmas lights, I added a lot of glitter and Christmas decorations and the class with no lights that way looked like Santa's town. After that the kids touched the lights and all the rest of the materials moving to the floor where we could play with the glitter making differents forms with the fingers on the floor.
Another idea for this is to buy this  Lights bars, we have to be careful and prevent any kid could bite this, but apart from this, this is a great and fun activity. I trow the bars in a big box with water in it like this one, the class was dark and the lights form the bars where everywhere. This activity it is ideal for summer , the kids can make forms with the water and the lights and handle the bars with their hands.

fun activities for rainy days.

It's all about fun and sensorial activities to enjoy inside a classroom or our own home, just keep flying your imagination. 😊
Textures sheets:
We can use finger paint or any kind of paint for kids, just we need to put the paint in a little container for them to grab it and to handle with their hands, sponges ot any useful material.
I used this paper from Ikea: roll paper sheets, with this kind of paper we can do the activity as big or little as we want, also, we can use different textures and materials to add a different kind of shapes and color.
